Hope from Helen is a 501(c) 3 non-profit charity that supports local and global organizations dedicated to health, education, animal welfare, the environment, and individuals and families in need.
n the past few years, the Hope from Helen Surf Silent Auction and other events raised over $145,000 to benefit great causes such as:
- Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF)
- American Cancer Society
- The ALS Foundation
- The Pink Ribbon Project
- The Lower Cape Fear Hospice
- In addition, the memorial fund provided support for local families with serious and terminal illnesses
